Preaching God’s Word

The most important part of our church is the preaching of the Word of God.  Romans 10:14-15.  Just as we must eat food daily to stay healthy physically; we must also receive spiritual food on a regular basis to maintain our spiritual health and well being.  To that end we encourage our members to be present at each service.  Sunday morning, Sunday evening and Wednesday evening - we call this “3 to thrive”  Heb. 10:25.

Listening to recordings of preaching is another good way to receive much-needed spiritual food.  We must stress that recordings should, whenever possible, be used to augment and not replace regular church attendance.  Try listening to preaching instead of ‘worldly radio’ and see the difference it makes in your life!

During the first six months of 2007 remodeled our auditorium.  Through much blood, sweat & tears expended by the men of our church and, mostly, with God’s blessing the job was completed.  As part of the project we switched to computerized recording of our services in order to make these messages available to everyone via the world-wide web.  This page is the result of that effort.

It is our fervent prayer that these recorded messages will be a blessing to not only the members of our church, but, also, to all those who are unable to attend our services regardless of the reason.  We believe the ‘Podcast’ system will make these messages available to the most people in the easiest possible way.  By ‘subscribing’ to our Podcast (which is FREE) you will automatically receive each message as soon as it’s posted to our site.  Up-dates take place whenever you log on to the internet.  You must have Apple Computer’s ‘iTunes’ software installed on your computer.  Mac’s come with it pre-installed when you buy your computer.  Windows users may download a FREE copy here.  Once iTunes is installed on your computer and you subscribe to our Podcast iTunes will automatically check our site on a regularly scheduled basis (set by you) and download any newly posted files to your computer.  You may then listen to the files whenever you wish as well as being able to burn them to CD’s to share with family and friends.
